Fall Sports Highlights

Fall athletics are in full swing, and the Shiloh Saints are excelling across the board! Come out and support our teams!

Football

Shiloh Football had an exciting start as they faced Siloam Springs in the Hooten's Kickoff Classic at Razorback Stadium on Labor Day last week.  The Saints led most of the game and amassed over 530 total yards on offense. The game ended in a tie score of 35 all. The Saints have their first home game against Broken Bow on Friday night at Champions Stadium.

Volleyball

Last week, the Shiloh Lady Saints competed against Springdale High and went 3-0  with scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-22. Thursday, Shiloh competed against Clarksville and won all three games. Brittany Butler had nine kills, and Tori Richards lead with 10 kills. Lauren Brown aided the team with 25 assists. The Lady Saints are 1-0 on conference  and play Harrison tomorrow night for their second conference game at Shiloh starting at 5pm. Tennis

The Tennis Saints are 3-2 as a team. Smith Ney has dominated his matches. Skyler Hudson and Adam Treece have been great at doubles, winning all of their matches. Logan Foster has been a surprise and won his last three matches. After being down 2-5 in Alma, he came back to win in a tie breaker.  The Cobb triplets are new additions to the team this year, and last week,  beat down Alma in 4 of their 5 matches.  The Saints play again in Clarksville on September 10th and at Siloam Springs on September 12th.

Golf

The Shiloh Boys golf team is off to an 11-1 record with just 2 weeks remaining before the conference tournament. The Shiloh Girls are off to a 4-1 start also! The Saints competed at Rogers and Mountain Home last week.  The Boys defeated Rogers by 5 strokes, and won at Mountain Home as well.  The Girls fell to Rogers by 10, but rebounded with an excellent performance defeating Mountain Home by 4 strokes. Varsity performers for the teams this year include Seniors: Cole Stoecklein, Hunter Pauling, and Megan Hash; Junior: Kord Offenbacker; Sophomores: Natalie Akers and Kelly Lesh; and Freshman: Kyle Robinson and Canon Cothran. The Saints play next at Eagle Crest in Alma this afternoon and host Harrison, Huntsville, Gravette, Green Forest and Pea Ridge on Sept. 10th.

Cross Country

The Shiloh Cross Country Teams are off and running well! They kicked off their season on Aug. 31st here at Shiloh with 1,500 runners from all over AR, OK and MO. The Girls Jr. High Team led by Harper Whaley, two time conference champion, Hattie McDonald, Olivia Yarbrough, Sofia Pedro, and Karli Haws won a 1st  place team trophy. The boys Jr. High Team of Britt Sease, Marshall Richards, Andrew Scheffler, Joe Schroeder, and Nick Starr claimed 3rd place in the 4A-5A Team Standings, only one point behind Berryville.  This past Saturday, the XC teams competed at Elkins and had another huge success. Both Jr. High Boys and Girls took 1st place trophies.  Sr. High Boys led by Austin Henley and Logan Foster took the 2nd place trophy in the 5k race. Sr. High Girls raced well and were led by Bethany and Hannah Cobb. The XC team will compete again on September 21st in Siloam Springs.
