10.03.08 Homecoming Parties
Praise God for the beautiful weather for our tailgate parties! Thank you parents for volunteering to plan and man the parties. The megaphones really added to the homecoming pep rally too! What a wonderful school family.
Yesterday in chapel we spelled the word PROBLEM and discussed how to have a good attitude.

As we made lemonade, we learned that problems either sour us or we turn the problem into lemonade. In Numbers 21, Moses followed God’s commands and turned a problem into salvation for the people of Israel. We can do the same.
Winner of the Boxtop Contest in September was Mrs. May’s Class.
Parents of first graders met on Thursday afternoon to learn how to help their child begin AR testing. An information sheet will be sent home on Friday for those who couldn’t make the meeting. Please take time to read it. In computer class next week, Mrs. Cox will demonstrate how to take the test. Your child will need help for the first few tests, but the children pick up very quickly how to test. Encourage your child to bring home at least one AR book per week. Every child can earn a medal which will be announced at the end-of-the-year assembly.
