Week of November 7
November 14th, 2008
Once again, God has blessed our week.
- Again this week, I have had the opportunity to visit in classrooms. I’m thrilled with the high caliber of Christian teachers God has provided for our children.
- Over 400 shoes have been delivered to the Salvation Army. You can donate shoes through November 24th.
- Since Mrs. Darr is at a music conference, Miss Tollett led the worship portion of chapel. Ask your child how he can be a wrasse-a small fish which meets the needs of other fish.
- GT completed their unit with a Shoe Show on Friday along with Popcorn/Coke Day.
At look at the next week:
- Directories are in. You may pick it up in the elementary office.
- Sweatshirts arrived. We ordered hundreds. (It seemed like hundreds.) Please put your child’s name on the tag.
- Book Fair will be in FG 166 (Toon Town). You may purchase books beginning Monday afternoon until 4:00.
- Kindergarten will perform on November 20th in the Worship Center @ 8:30pm.
Look for more details about "Hog Wild Days" in next Friday’s newsletters!
- Class will do "Book Talks" with their favorite book on Monday and Tuesday.
- November 24-Razorback Day (Wear your razorback gear.) We will focus on reading two days before Thanksgiving.
- November 25-Pillow Day (Wear Friday dress code and bring your pillow with 2-3 books to read.)
December Mission Project-Students will choose something to put in a shoebox for a nursing home patient. More details at chapel in December.
Please do not drop your child off after 8:15 on the south side of the building. All doors are locked at 8:15.
I probably won’t blog next week, so from the Foley family–Happy Thanksgiving and Go, Saints, Go!
