Bryan Rooney named Shiloh's Head Girls Basketball Coach

Shiloh Christian school is extremely pleased to name Bryan Rooney
as their new Head Girls Basketball Coach. Coach Rooney is a excellent coach with
impressive experience and a winning tradition. He is eager lead the Shiloh Lady Saints to accomplish
great things.

Coach Rooney grew up in Guy, Arkansas, where he attended Guy-Perkins High School. He played
basketball for the winningest coach in Arkansas high school basketball history, John Hutchcraft. He
graduated high school in 2004 and went on to Central Baptist College. Coach Rooney finished his
education at the University of Central Arkansas, met his wife Lori, and graduated in 2010 with a
Bachelor of Science degree in education.

After graduation, he accepted the position of head junior high girls basketball coach, and assistant
varsity basketball coach at Little Rock Christian Academy. Coach Rooney spent the last 9 years at
LRCA and coached the last five years under a great high school coach, Ronald Rogers. Coach Rooney
and staff turned the program around by winning multiple 5A West and Central Conference
Championships. As well, he helped develop many Division I, II, III, and NAIA college basketball
players, and won the school's first 5A State Championship last season. Coach Rooney was also
awarded the Farm Bureau ArFCA Assistant Coach of the Year award.
