Fine Arts

Band

Beginning in 6th grade, Band students develop musicianship through individual and ensemble performance, music theory, and instrumental instruction. As students progress through Beginning Band, Junior High Band, and High School Band, they grow in confidence, teamwork, and musical excellence.

Choir

Choir students in grades 6–12 develop vocal technique, music literacy, and performance skills while participating in concerts, honor choir auditions, and worship leadership. Students also have opportunities to perform solos, ensembles, and lead worship during weekly chapel services.

Musical Theater

Students in grades 7–12 experience all aspects of musical theater through acting, singing, choreography, stage management, lighting, sound, costumes, and production. Each spring, students collaborate to present a full-scale musical production for the community.

Drama

Drama provides students with opportunities to build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and explore the performing arts through skits, productions, creative exercises, and educational field trips.

Visual Art

Students explore a variety of artistic mediums—including drawing, painting, ceramics, watercolor, acrylics, charcoal, and mixed media—while developing technical skills, artistic expression, and an appreciation for art history. Student work is showcased annually in the Shiloh Art Show and frequently recognized in local and state competitions.

The Fine Arts at Shiloh are about more than creating beautiful performances or works of art—they are about shaping students who use their creativity, discipline, and gifts to honor Christ.

Through meaningful instruction, collaborative experiences, and opportunities to lead and serve, students develop confidence, perseverance, and character while discovering how God can use their talents to impact others.

At Shiloh, we believe every gift is given for a purpose, and the Fine Arts provide students with opportunities to cultivate those gifts for God's glory.
