Shiloh Christian's Chick-fil-A Leader Academy is excited to announce that we are partnering with Saving Grace ministries for our Impact Project! Through our Impact Project, we are fundraising money and resources to bless their ministry with a garden, chicken coop, greenhouse, and orchard to help them create a positive work experience for young women. We will assemble the resources on our Project Day in April.

Saving Grace Ministries 

Saving Grace offers hope and transformation to young women through relationships, coaching, and opportunities that empower generational change—trusting God with the outcome. Their ministry is for young women who have aged out of the foster care system or are facing homelessness. Through their ministry, they teach the girls life skills like managing money & time, maintaining a vehicle, procuring a residence, taking care of taxes, securing a job & livelihood, and many other important abilities. Most of these young women come from generational poverty, addictions, and childhood trauma. Saving Grace provides safe housing and offers each young woman guidance toward a better life.

Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy

The Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy is a national program built to develop student leaders. It is a 10-month curriculum created by Chick-fil-A and Addo to teach leadership skills and encourage students to engage their culture to make a difference. Throughout the program, members take part in “Leadership Labs” to instill important characteristics and habits into their lives that they can carry with them in the future. They complete a Do Good December project, as well as, a capstone Impact Project prior to graduating from the program. The Impact Project is completely student led and executed and allows students to put into action the lessons they have learned.  At Shiloh, the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy allows students in 10th and 11th grade to apply to participate.
