May 24 Teacher Appreciation Day at Shiloh

May 25                 Take 25 for second and third graders (guest speaker)

May 27                 Preschool Field Day
Kindergarten Trip to Walton Arts Center
5th Grade Banner Chapel (chapel dress for 1st-4th grade) @ 1:00 in Worship Center
2:00—Awards Assembly practice

May 28                 Awards Assembly in Worship Center @ 9:00 (Students 1st-5th should wear the yellow fieldtrip shirt.)  Dismissal following program.  No Extended Care.

We have collected 12,789 box tops this year which translates into $1,278.90 for the school.  People may feel that the 20 box tops they gather is not important, but it does all add up to something awesome!  Thank you, Mrs. Jackson for coordinating the Boxtops Program!

Happy Mother’s Day

It’s only one day of the year and it should be celebrated every day.  Thank you to the many moms of Shiloh who transport children, stuff envelopes, shelf books in the library, serve in homerooms, prepare lunches, teach children, pray, sell apparel, etc.  Have I missed someone?  The list could go on and on.  We appreciate you.  You are making a difference in the next generation.  (Psalm 78:4b)  Enjoy your special day.

Foley’s Facts-May 3

Change: Celebration Books will be announced before Bible Bowl on May 20th @ 8:30 in Kidz Theatre. (Kindergarten and PK students were not going to be in chapel on May27th, so in order to accommodate their schedule we have changed the Celebration book date.)

5th Grade Banner Chapel will be at 1:00pm in the Worship Center

Calling all Boxtops! The last announcements of Boxtops for this school year will be May 5th. Bring boxtops in tomorrow.

Signups are still available for basketball camps:

3:30-5:00 for students entering grades 1-3 $45

3:30-5:30 for students entering grades 4-6 $55

Registration deadline is Friday, May 15

Fifth Grade Musical-I wanted to take a moment and brag on the fifth graders, their teachers, Mrs. Darr and Mrs. Duell. The musical was outstanding! God has blessed this group of students will amazing talents, they have worked diligently and the final product honored our Lord Jesus Christ!

 

Spring Sports In Full Swing.

  • The Shiloh Lady Saints won their first round soccer game today by a score of 5 – 0 and they will play in the second round of the State tournament tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Burns Park in North Little Rock.
  • The Shiloh Boys will run in the State track meet tomorrow afternoon in Pocahontas.
  • The Shiloh Baseball Team will play in the District Tournament semi-final game tomorrow at 12:00 noon in Prairie Grove.

Go out and support your Saints and be in prayer for them.  Thanks Team.
