Brazil GME

Thank you for your many prayers during the GME Brazil trip.  God answered all our prayers “abundantly above all we could ask or think”.  I shared with the children on Thursday.  We had asked God to send our luggage with us.   We had prayed for boldness as the students shared using translators.  We had prayed for open ears and open hearts.  Over 200 homes were personally visited.  Each GME student had the wonderful opportunity to pray with a Brazilian as they received Christ in their heart.  Over 100 Brazilians’ lives were changed in the short 5-day trip.  Over 100 Bible studies will be presented over the next 3 months.  Most importantly, a church has been planted in this community of over 10,000 people.  Praise the Lord!

 

Foley’s Facts-March 18

By tomorrow, I’ll be in Brazil with the GME group from Shiloh.  I AM SO EXCITED!

On April 2nd, Good Friday, you are invited to listen to the winners of our annual speech meet at 8:30 in the Worship Center.  All the poems are about Easter, so you will find it a great experience for Resurrection Celebration.  Each class has drawn illustrations for their poems and the winner will be shown on the big screen.  The third graders will be leading in worship.  Students may dress in Easter clothes on Good Friday.  1:30 Dismissal.  No Extended Care.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent/Teacher Conferences are tomorrow from 3:30-7:00pm. Secondary teachers will be in the Fellowship Gym/Cafeteria, and the elementary teachers will be in their classrooms.

On Thursday we are hosting another Discover Shiloh, a day designed for parents and students to find out more information about Shiloh Christian School. Do you know a family interested in Shiloh? Send us their info and, we will give them a call. Or better yet, email or call them, inviting them to Discover Shiloh this Thursday.

Book Fair

The Shiloh Book Fair is this week. Be sure to stop by Toontown and see the great seleccion of books they have for purchase.

 

 

 

Foley’s Facts-March 5

Sweats Day on Friday, March 5th.

P/T Conferences—Elementary teachers will be working in their classrooms from 3:45-7:00pm on March 9th. If you need a meeting for more than 15 minutes, please contact your teacher to schedule a separate conference. Grades will be issued on Friday, March 12th.

Buckets of Hope—We shipped 35 buckets to Haiti. Thank you for your support. You are a very giving people.

Boxtops-March Boxtop winner is Mrs. Culver’s class with 1,440 boxtops. Yippee!
