Elementary First Week of School

Dear Parents,

Thank you for a great first week of school.  (I'm living by faith for Wednesday-Friday!)

It didn't rain on Monday.  We thank the Lord for that blessing.  It didn't rain on Tuesday.  And again, we are grateful.  It is raining today.  This is the day the LORD has made.  I will rejoice and be glad.  This brings me to dismissal lines. Although it hasn't been the worst of years, we still have carlines to tweak.  We will not be able to work on it today, but here are a few ways you can help: 

• Be patient...getting kids to carline is like herding cats! 
• Don't come to carline until 3:20.  We aren't leaving the rooms until 3:15. 
• Remind your child of the color of your car or something special about it like it has a bike rack on top.  Our children need to be looking for the car as well as teachers. 
• If you have changed the pick up plans, please email the teacher as soon as possible.  We try to look at the emails before we leave, but the end of the day is chaotic.  

CHAPEL - I'm so excited for chapel tomorrow.  If your child doesn't have a chapel shirt, we have them available in the office for $20. 

There is a sub meeting on Friday @ 8:15.  I'll leave a note on the library about where we will be meeting inside the Fellowship Gym. I am blessed to be your principal/dean.  I love your kids already.
