Every fall, Shiloh Christian’s junior class hosts a community-wide event that provides a full night of family fun for hundreds of people.  For the past 11 years, Jennifer Campbell has overseen this major fundraiser called the “Junior Fall Carnival & Silent Auction.” To plan for this event, the junior class officers determine what games will be offered, and how many students are needed to facilitate each game. The rest of the junior class members sign up to work specific games, donate bags of candy that are given away at each station, and collect donations for the silent auction.  The students are responsible for getting the supplies for their game, manning the event, and cleaning up afterward.  Elementary students love visiting all of the creative game stations and earning candy for their efforts.  All of the money raised on this night goes toward the Junior-Senior Banquet held in April.

This year’s Fall Carnival & Silent Auction will be held on October 22 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the SEC Gymnasium.  Wristbands will be available for purchase at the door for $10 each, and provide access to all games and activities in the gym.  Be sure you visit the silent auction tables to place bids on valuable items donated and purchased from local businesses in our area.  For more information about this fun opportunity email jenniferc@shilohsaints.org
