What's Happening at Shiloh

Today is the last day to re-enroll your student! Thank you so much for prioritizing our re-enrollment process. This helps us plan schedules, hire staff appropriately, and budget well! If re-enrollment isn't completed today we will have to give your spot to one of our new families.

On January 1, 1983, the internet quietly flickered on—and with it, the world stepped into what sociologists now call the Information Age. Since then, technology has advanced at a staggering pace. Computers have evolved from running thousands of calculations per second to performing quintillions, and the device in your pocket holds more power than entire systems once did. We are surrounded by constant connection, endless data, and instant answers.

But access to information is not the same as possessing true knowledge.

In a culture overflowing with content, we can easily mistake exposure for wisdom. The Bible makes a clear distinction: real knowledge—the kind Peter speaks of in 2 Peter 1:5—is deeper than facts and broader than data. It is gnosis—a mature, applied understanding shaped by faith, virtue, and obedience. Wisdom is not merely knowing more; it is living differently.

So how do we grow in that kind of knowledge? Not through faster processors or stronger Wi-Fi, but through God’s Word, God’s Spirit, and a willing heart to obey.

Last week, we heard powerful testimonies from ten of our seniors—stories shaped by two things we all share: moments when God showed up, and how we responded when He did. Scripture is full of those same crossroads, from people who walked away to others who said yes and watched their lives change. The question isn’t whether God still has “God-moments” for us today—it’s whether we’re recognizing them when they happen.
