Back to School: Updated July 22nd
THE 25/26 SCHOOL YEAR IS ALMOST HERE!
We hope you have checked off most of your summer bucket list items because school starts in three weeks! As we wrap up July, we want to make sure you have all the back-to-school information. This email is lengthy but contains a wealth of information for you, as a Shiloh student or parent.
CLASSROOM PLACEMENT/SCHEDULES:
- Elementary students can expect to see class lists by Monday, August 4.
- Middle School students can expect to see class lists (5th grade) and schedules (6th-7th grade) by Monday, August 4. If you have any questions about getting started in Middle School, please contact evansb@shilohsaints.org.
- Secondary students can expect to view their schedules in FACTS by Monday, August 4. If you have any questions about your class schedule, please contact amandam@shilohsaints.org.
BACK-TO-SCHOOL DATES:
FIRST LOOK/GRAND OPENING - August 1, 2025
Join us Friday, August 1 at 5:00 pm for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony and get a first look at our new elementary building! We can’t wait to welcome our elementary students to their new home this fall.
LAST SPLASH - August 1, 2025
After FIRST LOOK, we invite you to join us for One Last Splash of summer! This is a family event for all students, from PreK4 to 12th grade, and their families. We will gather on Friday, August 1, at the Springdale Aquatic Center, located at 1100 Watson Drive in Springdale, from 6:30-8:00 pm for a fun-filled evening of swimming, sliding, diving, and fellowship. Feel free to bring your lawn chairs as seating around the pools is limited.
BACK-TO-SCHOOL EXTRAVAGANZA - August 8, 2025
The 2025-2026 school year is going to be monumental, and we are kicking off the year with a Back-to-School Extravaganza. On Friday, August 8, we will have a Shiloh Back-to-School Extravaganza to kick off another fantastic year. Students and parents will have the opportunity to meet their teachers and classmates, drop off supplies, and familiarize themselves with new classrooms and hallways, hear a word from Shiloh’s Leadership Team, purchase fan gear, grab family dinner in our new Elementary cafeteria, and get connected with the Shiloh Family!
Beginning at 3:00 pm:
- Purchase fan Gear and All-Sports Passes (Adult, Student, Senior Adult) in the Main Gym. (Cash, check, or card.)
- Purchase Elementary chapel shirts in the NEW elementary office. (Cash, check, or card.)
- Discover how to connect at Shiloh, including new family opportunities and events such as Connect4, Equipping the Saints, Shiloh Ambassadors, and H.O.S.T. in the Gym Foyer.
Beginning at 4:00 pm:
- Classrooms Open from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm!
- Elementary parents and students can meet their teacher and classmates, drop off supplies, and familiarize themselves with the Specials classrooms and teachers.
- Middle School teachers will be available in their classrooms to welcome parents and students to the new Middle School spaces! Bulk classroom supplies can be dropped off in their classrooms!
- Secondary teachers will be available in their classrooms for parents and students to review their schedules and talk with families. Bulk classroom supplies can be dropped off in Champions Hall.
- Support staff will be available at the new Elementary Office, Middle School Office, Secondary Champions Hall Office, and the North Gym entrance to direct families to their designated locations.
- Family Dinner Available in the NEW Elementary Cafeteria!
- Drop in from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm and enjoy dinner with your family in our brand new Elementary Cafeteria! $5 per person dinner includes chicken strips, macaroni and cheese, green beans, dessert, and water or tea. (Cash, check, or card.)
- Special Meeting Times to Note:
- 4:30 pm - Secondary students interested in Chapel Worship, Media, and Greeting will meet in the Worship Center for chapel vision casting.
- 5:15 pm - Middle School students interested in Chapel Worship, Media & Greeting will meet in the Worship Center for chapel vision casting.
- 5:30 pm - Senior families will meet in the CMR to discuss key Senior information and events with Brett Unger, Melanie Michaelis, Helen Peters, and Nathan Bodenstein.
Beginning at 6:30 pm:
- Back to School Kickoff Meeting - All Shiloh families will come together in the Worship Center to hear a word from Shiloh’s Leadership Team about the exciting things to come this school year!
1ST DAY OF CLASSES - August 12, 2025
All students will start school on Tuesday, August 12!
- Secondary Families - Staff will be available at the Secondary Entrance at Champions Hall and the North Gym Entrance doors to greet and direct students. Teachers will assist new students in each class with helpers to get them to their next class and lunch. Parents can use the Champions Hall Secondary Entrance or the North Gym Entrance as a meeting point for after-school pickup.
- Middle School Families - Staff will be available at the Middle School Office doors and the North Security Entrance doors to greet and direct students. Teachers will assist new students in their classes with helpers for the first few days. Parents can use the north parking lot, located outside the Middle School Office and North Security Entrance, as a meeting place for after-school pickup.
- Springdale Elementary Families - Staff will be available at the Elementary Drop-Off Area, near the new Elementary Cafeteria doors and Elementary Office doors, to greet and direct families. Additional carline/dismissal information will be communicated closer to the start of school.
BLUE/GOLD GAME -August 15, 2025
Shiloh’s football teams, from Youth to Varsity, will be announced and compete in scrimmages and competitions as we kick off the football season on Friday night, August 15. Fall sports, including cheer, golf, tennis, cross-country, and volleyball, will also be recognized and introduced. Festivities will begin at 5:00 pm. All-Sports Passes (Adult, Student, Senior Adult) and the Shiloh Spirit Store will be available for fan gear.
CONNECT4 - August 19-21, 2025
We will host a special morning for NEW Shiloh moms! It will be a fun morning of food, fellowship, and the inside scoop on all things Shiloh. Please refer to the times and dates below for the corresponding session. Moms can enter through the North Gym Entrance doors or one of the main offices. Be looking for more information as these dates approach:
- Elementary - August 19 @ 8:15 am (CMR)
- Middle School - August 20 @ 8:15 am (CMR)
- Secondary - August 21 @ 8:15 am (CMR)

NEW TO SHILOH?
We know that each student and the family they represent will add individual and unique talents to our Shiloh Family. As your student prepares to begin school at Shiloh, our goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible. Our staff is available to answer any questions you may have, direct you to the right resources on campus, or provide opportunities for you to connect with your new Shiloh Family. Shiloh Ambassador families will begin reaching out to our new K-12th grade families over the next couple of weeks.
