Dr. McDaniel's Weekly Newsletter - January 15, 2023

January 18th, 2023

Shiloh Family,

Now that I am back in the country, I will continue with my weekly newsletters!

Our four Global Mission Experience Teams are back and had such incredible experiences! We are so thankful for the life change we saw in the communities we worked with and in our own students. Our students stepped out of their comfort zones and served communities and shared Christ in countries they have never been without a common language. I can tell you that it is so refreshing to see young people fearlessly sharing the Gospel with others! Our students are so special and I am grateful for them. I personally can't wait for my own children to grow up through Shiloh and share in the same experiences.

We are off to a great new year so far! Speed and flexibility are the names of the game for the spring semester. There are many games, events, banquets, shows, etc. Make sure to stay up to date with our calendar and any notifications we send out. Make sure that you get on our Facebook and Instagram pages and like them so that you can receive notifications that way as well.

We have some new families starting this semester and some will start on Tuesday. If you see a new student or new family make sure to make them feel at home. We need to "insulate over isolate!" They are a part of the family now!

See y'all Tuesday! Enjoy the day off tomorrow

*Now that the elementary playground fence is complete we will leave the gates unlocked until 4:30 or so each day so that our students can hang out and play after school. After that, they will be locked until the following morning. We are so thankful for the fence and think it turned out great!

*If any Basketball or Wrestling parents take pictures at the games please send them to me and I will add them to my newsletter!
