Welcome Coach Cassie Loyd!

Shiloh Christian School is excited to announce Cassie Loyd as the next Head Volleyball Coach of the Shiloh Christian Volleyball Program!

Coach Loyd brings a wealth of playing experience and championship-level coaching to the Lady Saints. She played four years of Division 1 Volleyball at the highest level. Two years at the University of Arkansas, followed by two years at Saint Louis University, where she also served as a student assistant coach.

Her coaching career reflects a commitment to excellence and team-first leadership. She is known for building incredible team culture and authentic relationships with players.  Coach Loyd spent three years at Fayetteville High School under Coach Jessica Phelan, serving as both the freshman coach and an assistant varsity coach, and winning two state championships (2015, 2016). She then moved to Har-Ber High School, serving two years as an assistant coach before becoming the head volleyball coach for the past seven seasons.  

During her time at Har-Ber, Coach Loyd’s accomplishments include 6A Conference Coach of the Year, AVCA 30 Under 30 Recipient, and 2021 Undefeated Conference Champions and State Runner Up.

Beyond her impressive resume, Coach Loyd embodies the heart of Shiloh’s mission of developing Godly leaders who engage their culture and change it! 

Athletic Director Tucker Barnard shared his thoughts: “We are extremely excited to welcome Coach Loyd to Shiloh! Her competitiveness and love for the game is matched only by her passion for developing young women in their faith — she is the perfect fit!”

Dr. McDaniel stated, “Within the first minute of the interview, I knew that she had what we were looking for. I told our team she just has our DNA. She has grit, tenacity, and a huge heart for Jesus! She is so passionate about developing players, building culture, and pointing players to Christ. She is, without question, the right person for the job! The future is bright for Shiloh Christian Volleyball!”

Coach Loyd has been married to her husband, Andy, for 11 years, and they have two children, Palmer (8) and Presley (6). The Loyd family is thrilled to join the Shiloh community!
