6th Grade Core Classes & Bible

  • 7 Composition Notebooks (college ruled/100 sheets/pages that do not tear out/no spirals)
  • One 1 inch 3-ring binder
  • 1 package dividers for binder
  • 2 plastic pocket folders
  • 2 packages of 1 inch x 1.5 inch Post-it Tabs
  • 4 packages of small (ruled) index cards
  • 8 glue sticks

  • At least 4 black Expo markers per student

  • Girls bring 1 hand sanitizer, 8 fluid ounces or larger
  • Students will need a Bible; they are not allowed to use an electronic version.  The 6th grade curriculum references the ESV version if you are purchasing a new Bible or for the first time. Other preferred versions would be Holman Christian or NIV (they can use their copy from elementary). Please avoid King James if at all possible as it is very difficult for the students to understand.

Art Department

  • 1 watercolor pan set (flat watercolor circles/squares – not tubes) (approx $4-$6)

This list should cost between $30-$40 depending on where you buy the supplies.  Hobby Lobby has a 40% off 1 item coupon.  There is also WalMart and Amazon. These items will be compiled together and used communally.


Art II, III, IV

Students will be expected to buy supplies, as needed, for each assignment.  This usually means buying a canvas for $4-$6 every 2 weeks or so – depending on the assignment.
